GEARBOX MANUAL
Internal breakdown of mechanical parts: Gears: Syncromesh hubs: Selectors: Shafts: Bearings and bushes: but excluding any external linkages, and gear level.

GEARBOX AUTOMATIC
Mechanical breakdown of internal parts including planetary gears, sun shaft, Torrington bearings, drive gears, clutches, brake bands, valves and valve block, governor, fluid pump, torque convertor, thrust washers, bearings and bushes: front and rear drums, turbine output shaft, intermediate and rear servo shafts, but excluding external linkages, adjustments and electrics.

OVERDRIVE
Mechanical breakdown of internal parts including gears, shafts, bearings and bushes, but excluding external linkages, solenoids and electrics.

DIFFERENTIAL
Mechanical breakdown of internal parts including crown wheel and pinion, gears, half-shafts, bearings and bushes, but excluding wheel bearings, hubs, universal joints, and external drive-shafts.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE
All transfer e.g. primary gear and thrust, idler gear and shims, 1st motion shaft drive gear.

DAF (Volvo) VARIOMATICS
Internal coverage of power divider and reduction gearboxes, excluding drive bands and clutches.

PROPSHAFTS and LIVE AXLES
Breakdown of the following parts: live axles and propshafts, front wheel universal joints, external drive shafts including constants velocity joints, universal joints, bearings and bushes but excluding rubber couplings, boots, seals, hubs and wheel bearings.

ELECTRICS
Internal mechanical breakdown of the following: Ring gear, starter, motor, dynamo, or alternator, window operating motor, sun roof motor, windscreen wiper motor front and near, headlamp wiper motor, central door locking solenoids, coil, electronic ignition module, excluding: wiring and switches, with a maximum claims limit of £100.00

CLUTCH
Mechanical breakdown of internal parts or contaminated by oil, master cylinder, clutch disc, clutch fork, pressure plate, release bearing, but excluding burnt out parts and general wear and tear with a maximum claims limit of £300.00

COOLING SYSTEM
Breakdown of the following parts: head gasket, water pump, thermostat and thermostat housing, radiator, heater matrix, with a maximum claims limit of £100.00

BRAKE SYSTEM
Internal mechanical breakdown of Master Cylinder, Servo unit, with a maximum claims limit of £75.00

FUEL SYSTEM
Internal mechanical breakdown of the following parts: Carburettor, fuel pump, diesel injector pump, automatic choke unit, turbo charger with a maximum claims limit of £200.00

STEERING SYSTEM
Internal breakdown of the following parts: power steering pump, front steering rack and pinion, steering box, idler box, but excluding power steering belts, external links and joints, rubber boots and swivel pins, fluid leaks and seals with a maximum claims limit of £300.00

WHEEL BEARINGS (Parts Only)
SUSPENSION PUMPS excluding belts and adjustments with a maximum claims limit of £300.00

Casings: Should breakdown of any of the components covered result in damage to the casings then they will also be covered and will constitute part of the maximum claim liability.
